1) Miss a chance/opportunity (อ๊อพพะทู๊เนอะทิ่) [verb phrase]: to fail to use an opportunity to do something: พลาดที่จะใช้โอกาสในการทำบางสิ่ง.
Ex1: He certainly isn't going to miss the chance of making some extra money. เขาแน่นอนจะไม่หลาดโอกาสการทำเงินเพิ่ม.  
Ex2: The opportunity was too good to miss so we left immediately. โอกาสดีมากเกินกว่าที่จะเราจะไม่ฉวยดังนั้นเราจึงไปในทันที.

2) Miss out on [transitive phrasal verb] to not use the chance to do something enjoyable or useful, especially when this is a good thing: พลาดที่จะใช้โอกาสที่จะทำบางสิ่งที่สนุก หรือ มีประโยชน์, โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งเมื่อเป็นสิ่งที่ดี.
Ex1: Prepare food in advance to ensure you don't miss out on the fun! เตรียมอาหารล่วงหน้าเพื่อที่จะทำให้แน่ใจว่าจะไม่พลาดความสนุก.  
Ex2: If you don't come to the picnic you'll miss out on all the fun. ถ้าเธอไม่มา พิ๊กนิค เธอจะพลาดความสนุกทั้งหมด.

3) Blow it/blow your chance [verb phrase] Informal: to waste a chance that you had to do or get something good: ไม่เป็นทางการ: เสียโอกาสที่คุณมี หรือ ได้ในสิ่งที่ดี.
Ex1: You've got a great future ahead of you. Don't blow it: เธอมีอนาคตที่ดีมากรอเธออยู่. อย่าทำมันพัง.

4) Miss the boat [verb phrase] Informal: to be too late to use an opportunity to do something good: ไม่เป็นทางการ: สายเกินไปที่จะใช้โอกาสทำในสิ่งที่ดี.

You are opportunity, and you must knock on the door leading to your destiny.  When the flower blooms, the bees come uninvited.  You can commit no greater folly (ฟ้อลลิ: ความเขลา) than to sit by the road side until someone comes along and invites you to ride with him to wealth or influence.
