Skeptical
(When you do not believe something)

2) Disbelieve [intransitive and transitive] Formal: to not believe something, especially something that someone has told you: เป็นทางการ: ไม่เชื่อบางสิ่ง, โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง บางสิ่งที่ใครบางคนได้บอกคุณ: “ไม่เชื่อ”.

3) Not believe [transitive verb not in progressive] to not believe that something is true or that someone is telling the truth: ไม่เชื่อว่าบางสิ่งจริง หรือ ใครบางคนกำลังพูดความจริง: “ไม่เชื่อ”.
Ex1: She doesn't believe anything he tells her. หล่อนไม่เชื่อสิ่งใดๆที่เขาบอกหล่อน.
Ex2: He says he’s going to send me the money, but I don't believe a word of it. เขากล่าวว่าเขาจะส่งเงินมาให้ฉัน, แต่ฉันไม่เชื่อเขาสักคำ.

4) Incredulous: อินเคร้ดจะลัส [adjective] unable to believe something because it is so surprising that it seems impossible: ไม่สามารถที่จะเชื่อบางสิ่งเพราะมันน่าประหลาดอย่างมากที่จะเป็นไปได้: “ไม่เชื่อเลย, สงสัยมาก”.
Ex1: 'You sold the car?' she asked, incredulous. เธอได้ขายรถ? หล่อนถาม, อย่างไม่น่าเชื่อ.

5) Skeptical/US, Sceptical/UK [adjective] someone who is skeptical about something is not sure whether it is true, or does not really believe it: ใครที่ skeptical เกี่ยวกับบางสิ่ง ไม่แน่ใจว่าสิ่งนั้นจริงหรือไม่, หรือไม่เชื่อว่ามันเป็นจริง: “กังขา”.
Ex1: I'm extremely skeptical about what I read in the press. ฉันกังขาอย่างมากเกี่ยวกับสิ่งที่ฉันอาจในสื่อ.
Ex2: He is highly skeptical of the reforms. เขากังขาอย่างสูงกับการปฏิรูป.

6) Cynical [adjective] someone who is cynical is not willing to believe that people have good or honest reasons for doing something: ใครบางคนที่ cynical ไม่เต็มใจที่จะเชื่อว่าคนมีเหตุผลที่ดี หรือ ความซื่อสัตย์ในการทำบางสิ่ง: “คิดแง่ร้าย”. 
Ex1: The public is cynical about election promises. สาธารณชนมองในแง่ร้ายกับสํญญาช่วงหาเสียง – คงพูดแล้วไม่ทำ.
Ex2: Since her divorce, she's become very cynical about men. ตั้งแต่การหย่าร้างของหล่อน, หล่อนได้เริ่มมองผู้ชายในแง่ร้าย – ชายที่ดีก็ยังมีอีกเยอะนะ.

7) Take something with a grain of salt/US; take something with a pinch of salt/UK [verb phrase] to not completely believe what someone says to you because you know that he/she does not always tell the truth: ไม่เชื่อทั้งหมดในสิ่งที่ใครบางคนพูดกับคุณ เพราะคุณรู้ว่า เขา/หล่อนไม่ค่อยจะพูดความจริง: “ฟังหูใว้หู”.
Ex1:  Most of what he says should be taken with a grain of salt. สิ่งที่เขากล่าวควรที่จะฟังหูใว้หู.
